Event Organizers

How We Serve Event Organizers

The power of face-to-face events is immeasurable. In a world filled with texting and social media, we know that there is nothing that can replace the feeling of sitting around a table discussing issues with your peers. Nothing beats grabbing a beer with a long-time colleague and chatting about industry issues. The energy that fills a room when hundreds of people gather to learn and make change cannot be replicated. We love live conferences, meetings and events.

Event Organizers

That said, we believe that the meetings industry has tremendous room for growth. There is opportunity to design modern events that are interactive and contribute to changing society. Turning a room set up upside down can totally change the vibe of an event. Regardless of the change, in order for an event to be successful, it must mesh with the goals and objectives of the organization that is hosting the event. At Seven Degrees, we work with you to find the right tools to make your event the best that it can be.

Our services for event organizers include:

Corporate social responsibility (CSR) is a self-regulating business model that helps organizations be socially accountable — to itself, its stakeholders, and the public. CSR touches on several aspects of society including economic, social, and environmental. CSR is a business strategy that involves employees, vendors, customers, members, and the community in which they operate. CSR may impact purchasing decisions, manufacturing practices, employment policies, philanthropic endeavors, and more.

In today’s marketplace, CSR is not optional. Study after study shows that corporate citizenship contributes to customer buying decisions and is an expectation of the Millennial and Gen-Z workforce. However, to many businesses and associations, it’s a challenge. Common obstacles include:

  • No Time or Budget
  • Choosing a cause or charity?
  • Senior-level Buy-in
  • Lack of Understanding of options

How We Help Associations and Events?

Associations and events are in a unique position to bring people together in ways that no other force does. People meet to discuss and solve challenges that impact their businesses. While these smart, motivated individuals are thinking and in problem-solving mode, they have the opportunity to brainstorm ideas that can make a meaningful difference to a charity, for a community, and for society as a whole. We will work with you to identify how, when and what CSR looks like and how you can use the power of people to create change.

In today’s interactive world, participants expect more from the events they attend. As organizers, it is essential to understand various learning styles and what keeps people engaged before, during and after the event they are attending.

We create event engagement plans and help you implement them to give participants the best experience possible and to help you meet your event goals. Our approach is designed to drive attendance, create buzz and leave attendees wanting more using a mix of classic methods combined with new media and technology. From advice, to strategy to full-scale event design, we can assist you in creating rock star meetings, conference, concerts or even festivals.

We know events and we know event marketing. If you are trying to build attendance, increase revenue and build buzz around your meeting or conference, we can help. We don’t just market events, we help with the overall meeting design to ensure that it will attract the right people.

With technology changing so quickly, a Social Tech Clinic can help the attendees understand and get the most out of these new tools. We provide attendees with hands-on guidance to using all types of technologies in a no-fear approach (complete with lab coats and all!). With this program that is similar to the support seen at the highly popular Apple Store Genius Bars, we address common attendee questions, such as:

  • “How do I download the conference app?”
  • “How can I get my iPad to____________?”
  • “My phone won’t connect to the wifi”
  • “Who are the technology exhibitors at this show?”
  • “How do I find out what other attendees are saying on Twitter?”
  • “How can I use social media to build my business?”

No question is too small for us to answer and we give event participants the tools they need to get the most out of the latest technology around, potentially including lessons on how to use sponsored mobile apps at the event or other sponsored technologies, driving returns for those sponsors.

In addition to the hands-on, Q&A format, we can also deliver tech tours of the tradeshow floor, featured vendors or tech in use at the event. It’s a great way to have tech questions answered as well as learn about new products in a non-salesy, non-intimidating and neutral way. It can also be an additional revenue opportunity.

Our staff is trained in the latest in technology and is professionally dressed in white lab coats that include a patch with your conference logo.
