I’m not a movie reviewer. In fact, I don’t go to the movies that often. However, I was compelled to see The Social Network on opening weekend. Having started a company based on the power of social technology, I was excited to see it. I expected to be entertained, but didn’t expect to learn a lesson.
While I know that the movie is loosely based on reality, what was very clear is the passion that Facebook founder, Mark Zuckerberg has. Mark didn’t just have an idea. He didn’t just have brains. Mark had the right combination of a good idea fueled by an intense passion for success.
The movie left me wanting to try harder. It left me wanting to build something that changes the world. It left me wanting to find something that I am so passionate about that it drives me to do great things.
